The images below were constructed for The Ohio State University Department of Theatre's production of Sueno and rendered using Maya Unlimited by Alias Wavefront software. Maya is a digital modeling program used to create 3 dimensional scenes, and is the industry standard application for the production of cinematic special effects, animation, and character modeling. In the theatrical context, Maya allowed me to effectively communicate ideas to the director and performer, and visualize early on in the process how the lighting would impact dramatic compositions.
